Beats from Earlier Days: Harley’s Humongous Adventure

You mean you haven’t heard of this game? Yeah I don’t blame you, Harley’s Humongous Adventure didn’t set the world on fire but it did have one amazing thing going for it: the music. The game’s plot revolves around Harley, the genius-cool scientist makes a shrinking ray but unfortunately, shrinks himself allowing bugs to steal the machine! You must search through his house as a shrunken Harley and get all the pieces of the now-destroyed shrink ray back. It sometimes re-used the same music but you can’t go wrong with the triumphant beginning at the top here. Also check out Stage 2 and Stage 3 themes for more bass-groovin’ 16-bit horns.

About Perry Jackson

Perry Jackson is the News Editor at XBLAFans and a freelance writer trying to find his way into the gaming industry. Some of the earliest beats from the NES generation cause me to feel amazing about how music has progressed in games. Favourite soundtrack ever might be a three-way tie between Castlevania, MGS2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
