The OSU marching band performs video game tribute

Where can you go to hear classic music from Space Invaders, Pokémon, Tetris, Super Mario Bros., Halo, Zelda, and Pac Man? On October 6th of this year, the place to be was Ohio State University’s home football game against Nebraska apparently. In case you haven’t seen it yet, check out the awesome footage:

Throughout the 9 minute video, the insanely talented OSU marching band performed theme music from all these games (well, except Pac Man), but it doesn’t end there. Their marching routine involved the entire band forming recognizable shapes and characters with ridiculous precision. If you don’t have the patience to watch the entire video, then please fast forward to the 6 minute mark when they formed Link’s trusty horse, Epona, and made her appear to gallop across the field. It is hard not to gush.

With all the attention OSU is receiving for this feat, let’s hope they sneak in a few more amazing video game themed performances this year.
