THQ announced today that renowned composer Jesper Kyd is scoring the soundtrack for the upcoming game Darksiders II.
Kyd is a BAFTA award-winning composer best known for his work on the Hitman and Assassin’s Creed series. Expect Kyd’s emotionally dynamic score for Darksiders II to combine dark ethereal themes and melodic fantasy that will enrich the player’s experience with the game.
Giles Lamb, who has composed music for hundreds of TV, films, commercials and games, including Dead Island‘s famous CG trailer, will be composing the music for the Darksider II trailers, one of which can be seen below.
