Christopher Lennertz composing a “unique and interesting” score to Starhawk

PlayStation 3 exclusive Starhawk will feature a soundtrack composed by the award-winning Christopher Lennertz, which is available June 19, 2012 through La-La Land Records. Lennertz has scored more than 40 feature films, five network televisions series and more than a dozen video games, his most recent being Mass Effect 3.

Starhawk‘s soundtrack appears to be “one of the most unique and interesting scores” of Lennertz’s career, as he says in the video below which details how the soundtrack was crafted.

The soundtrack will utilize a wide array of instruments and styles, including everything from traditional strings and brass to harmonicas and heavy-metal style guitars. Lennertz’s candid approach and enthusiasm for the game and his musical scores is inspiring, so enjoy the video.
